Intro to Hockey is a 10-12 session program on the weekend lead by a professional skating coach. Intro to Hockey is intended for kids who can stand up on skates on the ice, but maybe can't yet move well, or are just learning to move. Intro to Hockey is a great alternative to the regular hockey program (mites, 5U, 6U, 8U) for the first year for children that are just learning to skate or are interested in fewer sessions than the regular hockey program. You will be amazed by your child's improvement over the year. Participants must be age 4 by Sept. 1 and must live in or attend school in the Mahtomedi School District.

The participants wear full hockey gear and the instructors will lead the kids in fun drills and games to keep the kids moving on the ice. Need equipment? Check out our Redpath Legacy Gear available for use.

Sessions are at White Bear County Rink (WBC) in White Bear Lake.
