D2 Mandatory Coaches/Managers Meeting


Coaches and Managers please mark your calendars and be ready to attend the appropriate MANDATORY meeting.  All meetings will be held at the White Bear Lake Middle School Auditorium (4857 Bloom Avenue, White Bear Lake) at 6:30PM.  Rules and rule changes and website changes will be discussed, and schedules & scorebooks will be distributed.  These meetings are mandatory for all Coaches and Managers.  Failure to attend will result in a fine to your association.

1 Manager from each team is required to attend.

7 pm in the Media Center at Mahtomedi High School.

Helpful Hints for Team Managers


  1. Read the Managers Manual!
  2. Register with USA Hockey.
  3. Do your USA Hockey background screening.
  4. Do your Safe sport on line training.
  5. Your USA Hockey Approved Roster & a roster with contact information for you team will be needed. Mikalynn Hauer,  our registrar will assist you with this, please reach out to her if she doesn’t reach out to you.
  6. Work with your head coach to set up a Coach/Parent Meeting to discuss expectations for locker room conduct, practices, games, tournaments, etc.
  7. Communicate with your team - regular concise e-mails and keeping the Team Web Page up to date are very important roles as a manager.
